Postinor 750 µg 2 tablety

Postinor-2 is an emergency contraceptive that can be used within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected
intercourse or after failure of your usual method of contraception.
These are the following cases:
– No contraceptive method was used during sexual intercourse.
– The contraceptive was used incorrectly, such as when
the condom is torn, slipped or used incorrectly, when the pessary or diaphragm is ruptured, broken, prematurely removed or changed in position
, when interrupted intercourse is incorrectly terminated (eg with ejaculation of semen into
the vagina or on the external genitalia).

Take both tablets as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours, but no later than 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected intercourse.
Do not delay taking the tablet. The tablet is more effective the sooner you take it after unprotected intercourse. It can only protect you from pregnancy if you take it within 72 hours after unprotected sex.

The active substance is levonorgestrel 750 micrograms in one tablet.
– Excipients are colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc, corn starch, potato starch, lactose monohydrate (71.25 mg).

Postinor-2 is not intended for use
before the first menstrual bleeding (first period).
This medicinal product will not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases, only a condom can.
Use Postinor-2 only in emergency cases and not as a regular method of contraception. If you use Postinor-2 more than once during your menstrual cycle, it is less reliable and more likely to disrupt your menstrual cycle (period).
